25 May 2010 | Learning for Living: A Course in Spirituality, Mission, and Service | Location: 127 Kennedy Terrace, Paddington
Learning for Living provides lay education focusing on the enrichment of personal spirituality, as well as preparation for the ministry of lay preacher. Enrolment is open for the next unit which commences on 9 February. The topic is “Understanding the Hebrew Scriptures” and will be team-taught by Rev Lyn Burden, Dr Shirley Coulson, Mr Aaron Ghiloni, and Rev Ben Webb. Learning for Living is coordinated by Pilgrim Learning Community and the Moreton Rivers Presbytery.

Pancake Day is alive and well - Grace Grace, state member for Brisbane Central, will be flipping the first pancake this February 16 outside Wesley Mission Brisbane’s Albert Street Uniting Church on the corner of Ann and Albert Street.
Pancakes will be on sale for $2 each from 7am to 10am and all money raised will be donated to the The Sudanese Nuer Faith Community of the Uniting Church.
Everyone is invited and welcome to come and share pancakes, smiles and goodwill for Pancake day in the heart of the city.
Wesley Mission Brisbane has supported Queenslanders for over 100 years and leads the way in providing aged care, youth support, disability services and support for the disadvantaged.
