First round of ballots declared

Mrs Jenny Brecknell, Chair of the Ministerial Education Board 

The Moderator declared the results of the first round of ballots held at the 25th Queensland Synod of the Uniting Church.

For the Synod Leadership Team the continuing members are Mr Geoff Batkin, Dr Ron Skilton and Mr Harry Thompson. The new members are Rev Robert Brennan, Mrs Sharon Kirk and Mr Robert Leivesley.

For membership to the 11th Assembly Ordained members are Rev David Baker, Rev Carol Bennett, Rev Lynnette Burden, Rev Hedley Fihaki, Rev Allan Kuchler, Rev David MacGregor, Rev Dr David Rankin and Rev Evan Stenlake. Lay members are Ruth Beasley, Bruce Binnie, Jenny Brecknell, Caroline Holmes, Andrew Johnson, Euan McDonald, Graham Reid and Harry Thompson.

Chair of the Ministerial Education Board will be Mrs Jenny Brecknell.

Chair of the Theology and Worship Committee is Rev Michael Skinner and members are Ms Heather den Houting, Rev Andrew Gunton, Rev Duncan Macleod, Revd Dr Neil Pembroke and Rev Dr Geraldine Wheeler.
