The Uniting Church Pastoral Care Training Program is being offered again in 2013. It is designed to provide training and pastoral care for those working in Uniting Church settings. On succcesful completion of the program participants may receive a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Pastoral Care. The competency based course which may be completed in 18 months integerates theory and practice and begins with a workshop on Feb 14 and 15, 2013.For further information please contact Lynne Gibson or John Coles.

You are invited to join us on 15 June at 1pm for a Fair Trade presentation of exquisite treasures lovingly handcrafted by talented artisans on display and available for purchase. Guest speaker Pam McGann of Siham Craftline Australia. Come along for afternoon tea, bring a friend and support L.A.M.B. International Ltd a nonprofit organisation raising awareness, funds, and supporting Children’s Homes in Chiang Rai, Northern Thailand. Fair trade is about fair terms of trade for farmers, artisans and workers in the developing world, supporting better prices, decent working conditions and local sustainability. We aim to increase awareness, understanding, and support for fair trade. The development of a strong and sustainable fair trade movement requires assistance from all Australian citizens. Our Complex at 45 Patrick Street is still undergoing refurbishment after the flood, however everything is in order for this event. Visitors will be most welcome as we celebrate our rebuilding of our community.
